I've always been a huge fan of XV for some time now and he just released his first mixtape with The Squarians and it's some pretty good stuff:

Awhile back, he released a new song every morning and night for 40 days on his site back in 2008. This guy compiled them all together.

I have heard a few songs from XV. I always liked them I just never took time to get into XV. I will definitely check this out.

After much deliberation (aka going through his song catalog again), I think Isn't It Awesome is #1 for me with Foreign Exchange Student at a very close #2, The Kick #3 for the nice use of an Inception beat and Go In at #4

I never understood the hype on this guy. He was hyped from the moment he came out and I just couldn't stand him.
I've seen XV live before as well and his shows are nothing short of impressive. The thing I love about XV is his beats are very simplistic and there aren't any unnecessary sound effects or anything to make his songs sound "cooler"
For those that have heard XV, who are some other rappers that sound similar to him?

There's this dude called Sean Brown whom I've been listening to for a while now. He makes most of his beats and they are dope. His flow and style is somewhat similar to XV
