LSU O-Line depth?

With Hurst maybe not returning,do we have decent depth still at O-line?

Don't kow about the depth currently, but Vadal Alexander looks to me like a young Willie Roaf, he is going to be amazing the next couple of years!!!!

The only thing I know is that we can't afford another injury on the O-line for the rest of the season. Having said that, does anyone have any inside information as to WHY Hurst won't return to team this year? Miles said it was some kind of family issue, but wouldn't specify. I found it very hard to accept that Hurst would abandon the team without a valid reason.

we really don't know. we got a bunch of young unproven guys as backups, but seeing what Vadal and Turner have provided thus far, I'm not dismissing what any one of those kids might bring.

Simply put - no. With Hurst and Williford out we cant afford any injuries anywhere sans maybe OC with Porter there. Davenport they dont trust and beyond him everywhere else is backed up by freshmen.

I was going to ask about Williford. I like how the line performed last week but we sure need an extra guy for depth. The guy I'm worried about is Dworcyk (sorry I'm butchering his name - I'll just call him "D"). Again - I think the coaches originally put Hurst at LT to rest D and save him for later in the year.

We recruited well last year on the OLine, and we have some young unproven guys. Only the coaches know thir capabilities. But after Turner stepped in it's hard to believe we have yet another true freshman with the ability to play now. So, without counting on that, we have Williford and Porter to back up he entire line. So, not terrible.

thought I read that he hadn't practiced yet this week, so I wouldn't count on him being available
