What would CLM record be without the Chief at Defensive Coordinator?

Pretty good when he had Bo Pelini. Stop trying to sell Miles short. He gets all the blame for losses but now you wanna give credit for the wins to someone else.

love the chief but OP not sure where you are going with this...as others have said 07...and hear is a prediction, if Tn does not get petrino to replace dooley, they take the chief and we do not miss a beat....

Is there any other successful football program that has fans giving credit to a coordinator over the head coach?

Why woudl the Cheif go to TN with Petrino? He likes Les Miles, and has respect for him. Petrino has no character.

i think what that poster is saying is that tenn could take chavis as head coach, don't know if that's what the chief wants to do but if he takes any HC job you'd probably have to think it would be tenn.

This exactly.

Too many idiots on this board want to fire Miles every time LSU loses and say he is the worst coach of all time. But then when LSU wins its because someone "bailed him out" or someone else did something good.

I guess some of you just have it out for Les Miles for some reason.

No matter what you say though he isn't going anywhere, so you might just as well go ahead and adjust and accept the fact that hes going to be our coach for the foreseeable future and will probably go down as the most successful coach in the history of LSU football.

No, Miles' job security is his own record that Chief has only been a part of for 3 or so years now

Oh well i don't see the Cheif becoming HC anywhere. He is what 56 years old? If he was interested in that he would have had a chance a long time ago.

Not often, but does happen... This is just a douche of a thread though.
