Sounds like something a hotel in Baton Rouge would do. In other words - pure awesomeness.

Apparently Mack has never heard of carb loading.

And that's why teams now stay at one of the resorts in Conroe and bus in before the game

Clearly you've never been to College Station. Count your blessings.

Pickings are slim for anything that might be called"classy", and the Ramada is about the highest-end hotel offering around for groups the size that the team requires.

2 question here...

1) Why the hell is Texas staying in College Station?....even if the game did start at stupid 10AM.....its just not worth the bullshite like that that could happen.

2) Why in the hell is Texas staying at a shitty arse Ramada Inn even in 1999.....do they not have nice hotels in College Station?

They have a Hilton, Hampton Inn, and Homewood Suites now....all better that Ramada Inn at least in my experience although I have only stayed at a Ramada one time and that was enough for me.

No... It was where Texas chose to stay. Plus there are about 30 newer hotels here since 1999.

I figure College Station would have at least a Hilton Garden INn and a courtyard.

College Station has grown a LOT in the 15 years since most of y'all have been here for a game. Several huge, relatively new hotels.

Sometimes I wonder what you people are smoking acting like College Station is somehow more podunk than the likes of Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Fayetteville, Gainsville, etc etc.
