Today's email from Will Davis:

quote:

Our next Coaches Committee meeting will be Tuesday (tomorrow) night with dinner @5:30pm and the meeting starting @6:30pm.

We have decided to do something a little bit different and treat every Coaches Committee member like they are an LSU Baseball recruit.

We will have several guest speakers lined up and will give each of you an inside look at the same recruiting presentation that our recruits get to see.

We think this will be a rare and unique opportunity for each of you to further gain inside knowledge about the program.

Upcoming Practice Schedule

Monday: Practice @3:00pm; Scrimmage @ 5:00pm

Tuesday: Practice @3:00pm; Scrimmage @ 4:00pm

Any word on how Hunter Devall has looked in the fall. I saw him a few times in high school and curious. I expect he will be a red shirt but wonder how he is matching up.

Parkview Baptist RH Pitcher Russell Reynolds was a bit roughed up last night. Bregman hit a monster shot over left center field bleachers.

Bregman so far in fall

Anyone have a rough idea of who our starting infielders will be? I was talking to a friend the other day and was just thinking, we have to replace Nola and Hanover. So will Jones be taking over Short Stop? That is what I kept hearing last year.

1B-Powell/Katz/Chinea
2B-Ibarra/Jones/Bregman
SS-Jones/Bregman/Ibarra
3B-Moore/Katz

Ibarra, Jones, and Bregman will all start minus any big suprises...only question is where.

Team is going to be MUCH deeper in the field compared to a year ago.

Andrew Stevenson made an all out diving catch in cener field last night that would have made any highlite reel.

They are watched in the years prior to attending LSU. Basically in games, showcases, tournaments etc...

Have not made a scrimmage yet, but have seen a handful of practices

All scrimmages and practices are open to the public. You just walk in any open gate and sit anywhere.

No marshals are there to make you move out of the field level seats.

Haha ok. I been wanting to check one of them out, my family has had season tickets since the mid-80's and we are all pretty big fans.

I like this. Hoping for a big rebound.
