Following a few weeks of lackluster performances, I am ashamed to admit I had lost faith in this year's team. Taking into account the number of injuries, especially along the line, the inconsistent passing game and the way Florida ran through our defense, I felt like the team was ill-equipped to handle an above-average opponent.

BOY, I WAS WRONG.

This team showed a lot of grit and determination last night against a very good South Carolina team. There are still a few things that can be worked on, but as I heard Kevin Ford say on the post-game show I think this team began to reveal its identity last night.

I am so proud of the team, and the fans at the game last night who let the entire country know that there really is only ONE DEATH VALLEY.

Florida only ran on us that way because the defense was on the field 80% of the time, they were worn out. If our offense can sustain drives we can beat ANYBODY..

Yeah, I lost faith too. When you look at things, all the attrition was what stood out to me.

How the hell can we win with zero experience on the o-line?

Well LSU just showed us. Damn fine game.

I was on the verge of losing faith, meaning the expectations of a championship calibre team. Then this game happened and completely restored it.

yeah, that was a big difference from last night. Even when the O didn't score ... at least we didn't have a ton of 3 & outs like vs. UF.

I'm sure the D appreciated that.

That kept the crowd into it, and I don't think that can be overstated.

Nice job sir. It's always good to hear people be humble and admit they are wrong. Unfortunately, you don't see that too much.

Have a blessed day MTNTiger

I definitely lost faith in the offense. I knew our defense was stout, but the offense...ehh. That being said, the passing game still has miles to go (pun intended).

Any objective observer would have thought this team had little chance to compete for ATL after the AU/UF games.

If they can keep this level and improve some in the pass/catch area, they should handle A&M fairly easily and have a good shot at UA.

Now if Wing can get his head out of his arse...

Every attitude changes from week to week. If we lose next week it will be a meltdown, if we win its the greatest win ever in LSU history.
