I'll Wager That the Intelligence Community Will Have a Leak

That will make Joe a liar....soon. This will contribute to his and BHO's retirement.

Biden blamed a lack of intelligence on 2week's worth of lies that the Administration told to the public. We'll see how that holds up. A book deal is worth much more than a few years of salary a whistle blower will lose.

Don't know about the retirement - as there are a ton of delusional voters out there - but as far as the leak...spot on. Those guys aren't going to carry the lie water for this bunch; especially knowing that they might have to back it up under oath.

Yep. The only question seems to be timing...will the confirmation come through for this Sunday's talk shows? Next week's? Or Next February's?

No need to leak. It's already been reveled the administration was given the assessment of a terrorist attack in the first 24 hours.

So I've heard(though I can't remember the source), but it's not driven home yet, at all. There will need to be more publicity for the truth to do the job on this issue. High placed leaks/confirmations to the media on the true time line for the intelligence should come forth very soon.

re: I'll Wager That the Intelligence Community Will Have a Leak

This isn't a leak from the debate, it is actually 10 day old news, but I am just hearing about it.

You know the intelligence report that Cutter and Biden have used to justify their claims that the Benghazi terrorist attack was initially thought to be about the video? Well, it turns out the very piece of intelligence that they use also contains Al Qaeda saying that they are going to go through with their planned attack LINK

quote:

The intelligence that helped inform those talking points—and what the U.S. public would ultimately be told—came in part from an intercept of a phone call between one of the alleged attackers and a middle manager from al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), the group’s north African affiliate, according to U.S. officials familiar with the intercept. In the call, the alleged attacker said the locals went forward with the attack only after watching the riots that same day at the U.S. embassy in Cairo.

However, the intercept was one of several monitored communications during and after the attacks between members of a local militia called Ansar al-Sharia and AQIM, which, taken together, suggest the assault was in fact a premeditated terrorist attack, according to U.S. intelligence and counter-terrorism officials not authorized to talk to the press.

In one of the calls, for example, members of Ansar al-Sharia bragged about their successful attack against the American consulate and the U.S. ambassador.

It’s unclear why the talking points said the attacks were spontaneous and why they didn’t mention the possibility of al Qaeda involvement, given the content of the intercepts and the organizations the speakers were affiliated with. One U.S. intelligence officer said the widely distributed assessment was an example of “cherry picking,” or choosing one piece of intelligence and ignoring other pieces, to support a preferred thesis.

This information is the type that will need to be brought forward...to illustrate the cover up and/or incompetence. It hasn't gotten the light yet, but I believe it will.

re: I'll Wager That the Intelligence Community Will Have a Leak

What I find alarming is the fact that they came out with it starting as a protest, wherein it is clear that there never was a protest.

Who said there was a protest? What made them think there was? What intelligence gathered at all that there was a protest?

I can understand somewhat if there was a protest all day and then RPG's flew, atleast the initial reports would come out that there was a protest.

However now we are finding out that there never was a protest at all.

So who had the intel at first to even suggest this fact? And how did they come to this conclusion at first sight anyways?

Intel people don't just make up shite for shits and giggles. They base their info on a ton of circumstances etc. What were if any of the circumstances to suggest there was a protest to begin with?

I think Hillary is already covering her arse and Biden is now attempting to claim the White House never had a clue they wanted more security. Biden and Obama are now throwing their punch at Hillary and the State Department. This could get ugly between them, and now Biden took a swing at the intel community.

So I am to believe that Biden is the foreign policy master, yet couldn't understand where the hot spots are?
