When is Les going to let the fans know? I'm sure USCe is just as aware of the potential injuries as we are so "keeping it close to the vest" isn't going to do a whole lot of good IMO. There is a TON of speculation out there.

Lonergan - Not sure what his injury is but sounds like he is out
Williford - Possible head injury
Hurst - Appears to have quit the team according to reports on Tiger Forums and here...

LINK

A guy on Tiger Forums says that Hurst is dealing with depression and has left the team.

Are we going to find out the starters when ESPN scrolls them across the screen?

If we have to roll out there with 3 freshmen, a sophomore, and an average 6th year senior against one of the top 3 defensive lines in the nation...Our offense could be in for yet another long night.

It seems as though Les' breaks throughout the years are coming home to roost this year.

From what I've heard so far:

quote:

Miles on Josh Williford: Hopefully he can return this Saturday, if not, can play Dworaczyk at RG. (In other words, he's a game time decision even though he has already practiced this week)

Alex Hurst wants to stay on the right side and LSU wants him to play left tackle. Les Miles: Says not sure where Hurst will play "That's something we'll get worked out." (He's still on the team, and Les expects him to play this weekend)

C P.J. Lonergan is listed as a captain this week (so we know he's playing)

Seriously, guy quits. Not gonna hate till when and if we find out why, if this is true. We need to start getting these young guys in and get them some playing time, even if we get our asses kicked if we drop a few more. We could have played Mett last year in all of those blowouts and he could have been better prepared.
