I'm debating on seeing because a certain crowd just LOVES to go to see these horror movies and talk nonstop and comment over ever damn thing.

Seeing Paranormal Activity 3 at midnight was one of the worst moviegoing experiences of my life due to this small group of people that could not STFU (I liked the movie, btw). It was truly astonishing how rude they were.
So me and the gf are wary about spending $20 to go see this only to have it ruined by...them.

Hmm, that's surprising. I say this because at midnight showings it's usually the "diehards" for that particular movie that will be quiet and engaged throughout. I'll probably go see it tonight.

What happens when somebody complains? Does management try to come in and settle "them" down or do they offer to refund money to the person complaining?

i usually tell people to shut the frick up and haven't had any problems
my friend, however, once had a guy stand up and challenge everybody in the theater to a fight

waiting for redbox. The old lady loathes horror movies (I am enamored with them; AMC Fearfest starts tonight at midnight ) and this one just doesn't seem like it's worth sitting alone in the theater for $10 (to be fair, very few movies have that gleam to them).
