Houston Texans Release Trindon Holliday

Despite an amazing pre-season with 3 TD returns, the Texans have released Trindon Holliday due to his struggles in the regular season where he averaged 19.4 yards on 10 kickoff returns and 9.2 yards on 16 punt returns. I hope he gets picked up by another team.

I hope someone picks him up as well. Although it is hard for an NFL team to keep someone just as a kick return specialist if he is not producing the way he should.

After watching him this year in the regular season I had a feeling this was coming.
He needs to find a team that is willing to play him on offense as well in a Darren Sprolles type role

As a huge texans and trindon fan i think we had to do it... he hasnt been effective at all and has actually put us in some pretty bad field position... he's still my boy though and i wish him the best

I wish with every fiber in my body that this comes back to haunt the Texans when he is picked up by the Saints and returns the game winner in OT to beat the Texans in the "playoffs"
