The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints have one thing in common.

They lead the NFL in dropped passes, according to ESPN Stats & Information. The Falcons and Saints each have 15 drops.

The Saints are getting their drops mostly from strength in numbers. Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston each have four drops, which ties them with a bunch of other players for third in the league. Darren Sproles and Lance Moore each have three drops. Joseph Morgan has New Orleans’ other drop.

The good thing is it is a correctable issue that I would anticipate improving. For the dirty birds White led the league in drops last year with 15.

As a falcons fan, this actually doesn't bother me that much. Our offense passes the ball 85% of the time now so our drops are going to go up naturally. The Saints have always passed the ball a ton (as of the last 5+ years) with Brees.

Right now, I'd take either of our offenses with drops vs. a lot of other teams without drops.

Drops have caused the Falcons to be high since White has been with them. I is weird to see some sure handed WR's dropping easy balls like Lance Moore. I have seen Colston and Graham struggle with it before, but all three of those guys have struggled mightily this season.

True, White had a ton of 'em last year. I believe he only has 1 so far this season oddly enough.

I will say the Saints have had a lot of uncharacteristic drops this season. My opinion is that it's going to get better as the receivers and Brees mesh again throughout the season. Basically, I'm blaming the "dropitis" on Brees's holdout.

I thought we'd miss Curtis Johnson, but I didn't think it would be this soon or this badly. We've had very sure handed receivers the past four or five years. Not sure what's going on.

Oh yeah, I hate that you compared us to the falcons, blues.
