Friday evenings hunt should've been my best bow hunt ever. Until this deer didn't cooperate and die. Trailed blood for half mile then all traces disapper.It now falls into the lowest of lows category. LINK

I thought it was a great shot at first, but the more I watch it, I agree its kinda high and forward since he was quartering so hard. Hope to see him on trail cams again holding my arrow that he carried off.

shot him high in the holler.. as you know, ain't nothing up there..
tough luck.. that holler catches alot of arrows (about 4 of mine), specially when they have time to drop a little bit.. pretty deer...

Eta: to say "holler" means hollow. Slang we always said about that high "hollow" area up above with no vitals.

Shot a cow hon last year went 200#'s had two hole through the back straps, werearrows had passed in guessing.
