Mathieu - Drugs
Jones - Academics
Dural - Knee
Blue - Knee
Faulk - Knee
Alexander - Ankle
Wiliford - Head Injury (Concussion?)
3 Reserves - Academics
Jenkins - Transfer
Vinson - Transfer

Anyone I'm missing? I'm sorry, but this kind of stupidity (Mathieu, Jones, and the other three) and just sheer bad luck seems to be absolutely unprecedented. Am I correct that we are now starting half of our 2nd string O-line?

I love my Tigers but we can't compete at the highest level we are used to when we continue to lose key starters...game after game. Those sitting in the 2 deep can only step in and do so much...after all that is why they were the #2 at their respective positions.

I hope we get the drops, penalties, and vanilla play calling fixed...but we can't do anything about stupidity and just bad luck and we have SOOO much of that this year that it is a really, really bad omen.

With all that being said, I think we need to temper our expectations for this years' team, cheer for them like crazy, concentrate on getting these very young players (forced into critical roles) some vital SEC experience, compete...compete...compete, finish the season with a respectable record and nice bowl win and build towards an awesome 2013 season.

Geaux Tigers!!!

The "we're talking to you, Trojans" part at the bottom made me giggle.

Much too logical for the rant...but I'm in total agreement.

You see plenty of teams lose 1 or 2 guys and they can't barely stay bowl eligible...we've got a huge list and still can compete with anybody.

Plus, Florida played like they had something to prove this past weekend. Hats off to 'em, they just outplayed us.
