He kept us pinned down after the 2nd ga series .couldnt afford to take any chances down at that end of the field .and how many drops did he have ?could have bailed us (mett) out 3 or 4 times .

His struggles this season are both frustrating and puzzling given his success last season.

He should have let some of the punts go into the endzone. Young player trying to make a play.

He dropped a 1st down pass in the 4th quarter and obviously his fumble was a back breaker. Overall a very disappointing season from all our WRs

He is trying too hard to make plays to give the offense some kind of spark. Hard to blame him since they've been so tepid that big plays are going to be necessary to get any points on the board. Same thing with the other WRs.

Coaches should be able to fix that, but they haven't.

they are all awful as far as helping mett when he has to scramble. no one ever comes up, or breaks downfield. nothing they just stand there at the end of the route they ran.

Judging from what we've seen so far on how bad the WR's are playing in all aspects of what receivers are supposed to be doing, (Catching passes, route running, blocking, ball security) I'd say the new WR coach isn't that good. What ever he's doing coaching wise at practice is NOT translating to the games. We've taken a step backwards there.

Oh i dont apologize.but i do have to watch the ducks roll up points and then put 3-4 stringers in sometimes in the second quater ,not jealous but it would be nice to not struggle all the fricken time .and i cant say they dont play anyone cause we strugled against Towson auburn and fla .

It has to be the new coach. As a group, they have become completely irrelevant to the offense. It's uncanny.
I'm starting to wonder how much influence the ineptitude of the receivers has on playcalling.
