I'll explain....

Do you folks realize Miles and Co. have averaged 32.6 points per game this year? And, 37.6 last year against one of the all time toughest schedules! 29.5 in 2010. The problem this year isn't Miles or the play calling. The problem is players not executing the plays at crucial times in the game or on critical third downs...it's as simple as that. Miles' LSU teams have averaged 30+ points per game under Miles. Did you know LSU (Miles and Co) ranked #2 in average scoring margin last year? They were ranked #4 this year until yesterday.

We are averaging 393 (more than he ever averaged at OSU!) yards per game this year, even without the players properly executing plays. Did you know that LSU averaged 439.5 per game when we won the MNC in 2007?

Get off of Miles and get on the WR's that have bricks for hands and the inability to get open in space. Mett is a six game starter...what are you people expecting from him at this point? Six games!! He's put the ball in player's hands and they don't take care of the ball. And, our OLine has been decimated by injuries this year. Our Oline issues are problem NUMBER ONE and, unfortunately, injuries can't be coached up.

LSU scoring since Miles arrived:
2004 28.7
2005 29.9
2006 33.7
2007 38.6
2008 30.1
2009 24.8
2010 29.5
2011 37.6

Average 31.61 points per game as LSU's head coach!

THE PROBLEM ISN'T MILES OR HIS OFFENSE.

When the playcalling becomes predictable, it is a problem. If injuries begin crippling your team, you make adjustments. That's just not happening.

The QB's didn't execute the last 4 years and we still put up points.

All the stats in the world can't cover up that steaming pile we have seen the last 3 weeks. All the bold letters and exclamation points in the world can't hide the fact that we can't move the ball!!!!!

He deserves as much blame as anyone else. More than anyone? Probably, but maybe not.

I do blame execution more than anything yesterday. We called screens, TE passes and a fairly balanced attack. Whether the right plays were called at the right time is up for debate, but nobody here can say either way with certainty.

We played poorly against a good team on the road. Beyond that, the opinions on this site on what would improve our offensive performance come mostly from football-ignorant people, relative to those making decisions.

Yea, but only 9 points per game against in the SEC.

Dropped passes, not executing third down plays and not protecting the ball at a crucial point in the game. Not executing on third down kills momentum in the game.
