Like I mentioned previously, not sure how I feel about Adeline coming back especially with her abilities restored. I guess Juliette having feelings for the Captain is more dramatic, but thankfully the memory phase seems like it will be over after next week.

I can see Adeline coming back with her mom being killed and seeking some revenge.

The Captain appears to have gotten screwed over by his family in the past. Nick is likely part of his plan to get revenge on whomever screwed him and restore himself to his former position.

The Captain being a bastard Prince probably has been the black sheep of the family. And he's obviously rebelling against the royal families, he's probably using Nick to try and get his hands on the coins, the key, the paper containing the burial site for the items of power the Grimm's hid.
