Braves are really screwing up these Prado negotiations. It's almost as it they think he has blind loyalty to the Braves. He will be a free agent after this season, right?

Yes. Payroll is going to be tight soon. I'd say there is a 99% chance we let McCann walk after this year, but Heyward and Freeman are going to get expensive sooner rather than later. Prado's future with the team probably depends on whether or not we can reach an agreement with Arizona for J-Up. We just can't pay for Prado, both Uptons, Uggla's albatross, Heyward, Freeman, and all the pitchers who are due big raises soon. That Uggla contract is going to end up fricking us hard.
