Melvin jones the one that may need to switch positions. Dude average per carry is borderline unbeilievable considering he a linebacker commit.

Exactly. I know it's been said over and over, but he is a potential Dwight Freeney for us.

I actually think Neal is the most ready to come in and play right away.

Even though he's not as tall, he's still got long arms, and his technique is close to where it needs to be. As someone said before, he's a high floor guy. Other guys may have more potential than him, but he's less risky.

ETA: most ready of the DEs.

When did Cutrer get his bump? He was a 3 star last time I saw. Not star gazing just curious.

I just watched Baker play. Salmen's offensive coordinator just doesn't know how to get him the ball. Granted, the offensive line was not very good (which did not stop Chris Thomas, btw) but the QB was hurried on every pass. Baker had 3 catches, one of which was a TD.

Desean Smith and Trey Quinn both had fantastic nights as Barbe beat Acadiana 31-28 on a FG with two secs left. Can't wait to see him in P&G next year.

I was there also. As long as Fontenot makes good decisions as he did tonight Smith and Quinn will prosper. Great game.

John Diarse was 10 for 11 passing for 104 yards and rushed for 154 yards as Neville dominated Bastrop in last night's game 43-23. Bastrop scored two late TDs against Neville's scrubs to make the score prettier but the game was never in doubt.

P.S. Little Diarse is a freshman @ Neville next year.
