This could be the most pleasantly unexpected win for me in Tiger athletic history. Like everyone else I thought we had no chance, and we flat out beat 'em, even worse than the score indicated. Great shite.

I was a kid at that game. I remember our fans tiger baiting the uf fans on the way in, and I thought wow that's some courage considering how these games have gone lately. Then the goal posts came down.

And I know we're gonna win this one, too, because I'm going to be in Gainesville and I was ther in 2007 and 1997. Mark it, dude.

I was there. Sitting in the South end zone, UF backed up to the end zone and the crowd was going crazy.

Also remember the police trying to hold back the student section. Valiant effort

Snuck in the stadium late that night and ran around on the field.

That was when the Tigers were fun to watch! Lost some games but fun to watch. We sure could use Herb now!

I remember. I was there as a student.

BTW, first touchdown was on a short side option...just sayin'.

quote:

25 or so EBR police and a few others

Some of those "others" were those of us in ROTC at the time. They would have us go down there as a "deterrent" to students rushing the field. I have to admit that for that game I was helping drunk students over the fence instead of deterring them. Oh, and then I also joined the mayhem and helped get the goal post down and carted around the field. LOL.
