I unplugged it, waited a couple minutes, plugged it in thinking it would get me to where I could open in safe mode. It went through some Microsoft check and now is working fine.

Should I still run this Emsisoft program or did it get cleaned up? I have no idea but it seems to be working fine now.

Yes sir, still run it. It's good policy to keep your computer up to snuff anyway - even if you don't have herpes...I mean a virus

With some viruses, you wouldn't even know that you are infected. Pretty scary stuff.

what i used to use when my pc would get a virus. log on in safe mode and install malwarebytes. should work fine after that.
