With Mett struggling going into the SEC schedule do you think next choice is Rivers in the same style offense or Bolden/Randle and the Read Option.

Watching Bama last night Ole Miss QB's (they used three) were chased and ran all over the place.

I was wishing/wanting to see just that this last game and the Auburn game as well. Rivers is second string but we needed a new offense not a new qb.

Would like to have seen the dual threat offense get a chance before we need it.

Mett has showed very poor mobility and will get sacked repeatedly if he does not tuck and run for positive yardage once and a while. I think he needs to run 2-3 QB draws a game to keep LB's honest.

I have to believe that if the base offense we are running now continues to falter that when the pinch comes you will see Bolden or Randle even if it is an experiment...

Mett struggling

203 yards per game? Completion rate above 65%? A receiver with 125 yards and two touchdowns last night? This is better production than we've had at the QB position in years. The issue is with the O Line. Putting a worse QB in there with the O Line is asking to get smashed.

You ppl continue to amaze with how stupid you really are.

What have you seen in Les Miles past leads you to think he will do this?

I will wait for more stupid responses.

I am not a big fan of the RO or any memory of JJ for that matter but I have to admit a good QB that can run and pass can change the defensive tempo. Supposedly this offensive line is built more for run blocking according to the pundits out there.

You have one backup QB that is a Mett clone and two dual threat QB's on the bench.

Fla, USCe, and Bama will crush a pocket passer that cant elude the rush.

We may see Shep run the wildcat once or twice the rest of the season, but barring injury Mettenberger will take 99.8% of the snaps for the rest of the year.

If he keeps taking blind side blitzes in the back he wont make the end of the season...
