Can't possibly look at LSU -2.5 and think that's a great line. In fact, if you can get Fla +3 or +3.5 that's actually good IMO.

I'm going to be a little less trigger-happy early in the week.... New England and San Fran just bailed me out of a TURRIBLE day yesterday.

I see Husky at +24 being a strong bet. Oregon has been too mistake prone on offense. However, UW has been very shaky on offense. Still that is a lot of points even coming from a duck.

I once again dont see great value out there in a ton of games so far.

I think A&M at ole Miss is probably the best number i see

A&M has been racking up points and have as good a pass rush as their is in the country.

I just dont think Ole miss has enough in that one

I like Ole Miss. First game in a hostile environment for the freshman TAMU QB

(as hostile as Oxford can be)

LSU hasn't played a game they've had to "get up for". Wouldn't surprise me at all if they covered easily.

Take off the homer goggles and see how LSU has bottom 2 worst OL in the SEC. No matter how good your weapons are, you can't compete with a terrible OL

If Copeland is out for that game LSU could be in real trouble

The under might be a play to look at

I'm not a homer, but LSU has seemed to play down to their competition.

Differing opinion doesn't equal me being an LSU rantard.

The board is so pro LSU, I wanted to do a quick reality check.

I agree that they are playing down to their competition. In cases like that, against a subpar DL, we can get by with having a bad OL. However in the swamp against the UF defense, there will be no 'stepping up' when our OL is not good enough to step up. Outside of QB, OL is by far the most important aspect of a football team.

True, although defense and special teams has always been the staple of our team's success, and I'll take our defense over whatever that thing is Florida calls an offense any day.

Les' extreme conservatism on offense may come in handy for once.

14-7 against Bowling Green at the half
10-17 against aTm at the half
10-14 against Tennessee at the half
28-0 against Kentucky at the half

If LSU goes into the half down 7 or up by a TD, Florida isn't going to overrun our defense in the 2nd half like they did against BG, Tenn and aTm.

I posted about LSU's futility in the swamp in some thread over the summer. I won't be playing the game.
