It makes no sense to play cupcake teams like we have done. If you beat them big everyone just goes ho hum that's what we expected. If you don't beat them big or lord help us lose then it is negative. Les can't get the team excited about them, the fans aren't excited and they are boring and frustrating as hell! I would rather play a quality team and lose than go through what we have gone through this fall.
I really think one of the major reasons we did so well last year was that we knew we had Oregon right off the bat and were better conditioned and ready for quick play. That energy and desire just kept building all year until the long break before the NCG which I think took some of it away.
Please let us schedule better teams.

I agree.
This season is like a fart that you feel coming, but you can tell it's not going to be that big. And when it finally works it's way down, it fizzles out and wasn't exciting.
Last season was like a fart you could really feel was going to be big. The anticipation was killing you and you were anxious to finally let loose. When you did, and it was really loud and explosive, you wanted more, and you were prepared for it.

Too bad TCU bailed.
Who bailed that caused UNT and Idaho to be on the schedule?
