He did admit to wearing the vest, but I did not hear him mention the information he to from the CIA safe in Estes' office. What was that information? Were those targets that the US was targeting to hurt the terrorists? Or were they US targets that the CIA was worried the terrorist may target to harm the US?

Also, since Brody gave up Roya, will they have Estes get back in the field and try to develop something with her since there was a dinner invitation that transpired between them but was never shown?

I think that was the answer, might have to rewatch just to make sure.

Could be something.

Maybe Estes is the contingency plan if Brody fails.

I presumed she might try to coerce him into giving up CIA knowledge, but they haven't shown the two of them together in a while.

They also introduced Estes' son into the mix. He was visiting (divorced parents) when Saul took the video of Brody to Estes' home. Thus, Roya may end up snatching up the kid to use against Estes since that is really the only child of any of the CIA folks that has been introduced into the story.

Badass episode.

Where are they going with the Mike/Tom Walker investigation and Dana/VP running over a woman?

I refuse to believe these stories will not lead to something.

More likely senario is that he and Carrie's relationship grows, then Brody gets killed either by the CIA or Nasir. That will send Carrie into another spiral of erratic behavior and good TV.

i know we dont know what will happen yet, but IMO Carrie broke Brody way too easily there. I know they had the confession and all, but crying and holding hands and all that shite....that sappy speech she gave....did he really fall for all of that?

I think thats what they were going for exactly; they want the viewer to question whether or not that worked or if he is just going to act as a triple spy.
For the record, I didn't really buy it etiher, you can never trust a ginger.

Brody's vengeance has always been directed at the VP and those responsible for an innocent child's death. The realization that Nasir is just as bad, if not worse, than the VP when it comes to killing of noncombatants. I think that's what broke him more than the relationship with Claire. I rewatched, and you could see his mood dramatically changing when she started naming off places Nasir bombed.

Never underestimate the power to unburden oneself. Once he saw the video of himself he started cracking. The "bad cop" stab in the hand totally took him out of his own head and scared him knowing what could happen. Carrie played it perfectly as somebody who cared about him unconditionally that he could say anything to (whether he felt the same or not). She put him back in the one moment he'd been free since he got back. Beyond that - He knew he was fricked... The rest went down like 9Fiddy said as far as focusing on how much worse Nasir was than the VP, etc...

The hit and run incident just went towards building her up as a "good person" to make the inevitable that much more _____________ (drastic, dramatic, disheartening, disappointing... can't find the D word I'm looking for).

divine... deserved?

FWIW, at least the adorable Finn/Dana relationship investment will soon start paying bloody dividends

Is that wrong to pull for that? Nah...

This is prolly not probable but I've wondered whether Nazir fed his compound location to the Americans which led to the drone strike that killed Issa. Really morbid stuff but it would go towards Nazir's longer game of turning Brody. Get Brody to care about Issa, then take Issa away and point Brody towards the target (Veep).

We know that Nazir fed the Americans the location that Brody was at in order to have him rescued.

Maybe it takes Brody learning the above in order for him to fully turn against Nazir...that Nazir has been using him all along.

I thought for sure he did and didn't even cross my mind otherwise til my friend mentioned it
