Saints Playbook

Our playbook is simple and predictable. I remember when we had Reggie Bush, we use to run the 2RB Shotgun formation with Bush and PT in the backfield...We could do so much out of the package.
Another option would be to run the I-Formation with Ingram as FB and PT as RB or PT as FB and Sproles at RB.....I think this idea would allow us to more creative on offense and less predictable as well.
What are your playbook thoughts or player combos you would like to see?

It's not that our play book is simple, it's that the plays being called are.
Carmichael, Kromer, Brees all need to do a better job of keeping defenses guessing. Maybe go deeper into the playbook. Throw the ball with Ingram in instead of running it every damn time, run double tight end sets, and we need more of our bread and butter which is various ways to kill teams with the screen game.

Since you've seen it, in its simplicity, post some scans of it up here for the rest of the class.

Same Ingram who can't break through the line on 3rd and 1 is supposed to lead block?
I'd take you seriously...but there's

It just gives our offense more flexibility. You haven't seen Ingram in that role so I'm not sure how he will do but it's just an option.
What we do now is Brees drop back throws it high across the middle and expect Graham and Colston to make the catch.

Let me simplify what you just wrote.
What we do now is have the QB drop back and throw the ball high across the middle and expect the intended receiver to catch the ball.
To simplify it further....
QB Throws to receiver. Receiver makes catch.
again.
Throw and Catch.
yeah we're too predictable. We need to change out the throw and catch with the fubmlerooskie as our main form of moving the ball down the field.

it's almost as if we don't have our offensive-minded head coach making adjustments
oh wait

I guarantee you that the Saints playbook is one of the deepest and most complicated in the league.
Things not in the playbook, or shouldn't be involved:
Offensively-
Offensive tackles knowing technique and how to block.
Receivers dropping passes
Ingram being stuffed, although this might be debatable
Drew trying to do too much and forcing throws
Defensively-
Awful tackling
D line getting drove back behind the line
D line getting no pressure
Playing the wrong people on the line
Scott Shanle
Dropping easy interceptions

appreciate the enthusiasm getta but
is one of the most idiotic statements posted here this week. Nothing could be further from the truth. It likely could be the most complex playbook in the entire NFL.
Predictability I can get on some with. The hallmark of Payton to me personally is how many times I think "Oh shite, what the frick is that?!" If he isn't the best play designer in the NFL then he has to be the best in-game play caller. Overall a offensive genius. That's a tough standard for anyone to live up to.
The one call I'd particularly love to see changed up is the use of Ingram. Last I read, when he comes in it is a run play 73% of the time- far too predictable. Throw it more with him in and even toss him a few. He caught 53 balls his last 2 seasons in Alabama

I'm pretty sure the Saints run one of the more complicated systems in the NFL
