I'm going down to fish this weekend for the first time since May. I've heard the redfish are pretty thick and the trout not so much. Anybody got or heard any reports lately?

Doesn't look like it. It's getting hunting time so the fishing will slack.

Teal hunted down there last Thursday but did some touring around. I've heard of reds inside around Grand Lake and other interior marsh areas, Lake John, etc. Trout are transitioning but pattern hasn't really set in so they're scattered. Go launch at Sweetwater and just have them point you in right direction. They were getting just about rebuilt as of last Thursday

That's what I figured. We are actually staying at Sweetwater and I know Jack pretty good so I'm not to worried about finding some fish. I was just wondering if anyone had been down there and what kind of effects the flooding had.

It's a shame you don't have a man that'll take you fishing every now and then..

I did once. I was much more of a nuisance on the boat than a good fishing partner. I really don't know how he put up with me.

I did like our fishing escapades though. We always had a good time.
