Entertaining comments from our arrogant fans before the AU game.

The post -
Why I'm nervous about this game...1. First road game of year
2. First SEC road start for Mett
3. This is Auburn's season...nothing to lose
4. Strange history of weird games
5. LSU OL injuries
6. Point spread too high
From a talent standpoint, we match up well. I don't like the intangibles in this one. I sure hope we're up 3 possessions going into 4th Quarter. I'd rather not have my nerves tested this early in the season.
The responses -
- take a xanex and go to bed. We got this. We could beat Auburn with our 2nd string by 17
points.
-This game is gonna be ugly, for them, I mean.
It could be worse than last year.
-Like I said, this will be ugly for them.
- We will run the ball up their arse if NEED be.
They CANNOT stop the run.
-Dude this Auburn team is worse than last years. ULM nearly beat them at home, c'mon man.
-They are worse than last year especially without Dyer. We are better. It will be a massacre.
-Sure there are reasons to worry. Luckily they suck and we steam roll them.

(new thread) The post - Dangerous Game...I am always worried about a team that has no signature win, in turmoil and looking forward to playing at home against a big rival. Factor in Mett's first conference road game, injuries to the O line, defense and RB and this game scares me. Give me a reason to fell better about this game?
The responses -
- LSU will pound AU into submission and then throw over the top. LSU by 21+
-We are gonna make them shite blood. We play all our starters this week, pound the rock on O with Hilliard and Ware, and our all world DEs set up a tailgate in AU's backfield. LSU is more likely to score 50 than AU is to score 15.
-We gonna steam roll that arse
-toatally agree dangerous game for Gene Chizik's continued employment. He is gonna need to dust off the old resume after this loss.
-Frazier is fricking terrible. They can't stop the run. They can't stop the pass. They suck.
-Won't even be close.
-LSU wins by 30
-Both QB's are terrible, they have a horrible defense. It could be worse than last season's game for them.
-The only to legitimately worry about besides Bama is Florida on the road. Never thought I would feel this way, but Auburn really has NO chance tonight. Washington is better than them.
-Only if you bet Aburn w/ 18.5 points. This is Washington revisited

And, of course we had to laugh at the prospect of the AU game being a trap game.
So, we berate and mock those for thinking our team will have a tough time in a game, yet when it happens, we berate those who become critical of the team and point out flaws. As if we simply don't want to hear it.

We dominated in literally every stat except the score. Without two turnovers this is a different game. Thus, to berate those who thought we'd skull drag Aubie is equally as absurd.

I would agree, but a good bit of the threads last week werent facts they were "Auburn always plays us good!" Yes, that is the case, but they arent that good a team. Without a ZM fumble in our own territory, I dont think the game is less than a 17 point W.
