I actually thought our pass offense was better than that. Seems like it is.

We need to recruit and develop Offensive line, alot better, cause thats where it starts. Tired of watch QB after QB run for their lives.

In 3 of our games we only threw the ball for 3 quarters so our rushing numbers are slightly inflated and our passing numbers are low.

Our passing offense will always be ranked that low mainly because EVERYONE is throwing the shite out of the ball these days. I think most people who post here would piss their pants if we averaged 250 yards passing per game. And if that were so, we would still be ranked only 53rd...

Favorite stats from the NCAA:

1) Tulane is averaging a whopping 9.67 yards per game rushing...they rank last of course.

2) Army is last in the country in passing offense...they are 7-19 for 135 total yards. However, their yards per completion average is 19.29, which is 2nd in the country behind Georgia Tech (who also rarely throws the ball).

Alabama is ranked 70th in passing offense. Probably not that important of a stat.

Also, for those that complain about the play calling, we have passed 8 more times than Bama this year.

Playing Savannah St for only 3 quarters will help out your defensive stats.

They've only thrown 19 times this whole season? So they throw one or two passes per quarter of football? Mother of god.

Well this just sucks. 8 more games, we'll see how it goes.

Yes...they have only played 3 games...but that is 19 times in 12 quarters. Even Les thinks that is too few passes

This needs to change. You have to be better than this to score points and win games.

Do any of you watch games around the country other than LSU?

Do you think that all an offensive line has to do is pass block?

Do you forget the fact that LSU has one of the most dominant running games in college football?

Blasphemy. Passing the football is what wins football games. How else can you explain the fact that Marshall is 2-2 and leads the country in passing yards per game???

you show me a team that has a high passing offense and I will show you a team that is either running the spread or loses alot of games and is always playing catch up.

Be honest people, would you rather have a power running game or a flashy Oregon offense?

Run the ball, stop the run....win championships...it's been that way for years and it still is.

Rushing for 247yds/game, throwing for 194yds/game. I will take that all season long. Seriously, why do people want to throw all the time when we are averaging almost 5.5yds/carry.

Look any sane football fan who is not obsessed with a gimmicky playstation like offense will agree with this. But you have to question the playcalling when we insist on running the ball even when the opposition loads the box with 8 or 9 players. We saw that on 1/9 and now it has reared up its ugly head once again. They have to pass to keep the defenses more honest. And the drops are not helping either.

28 pass plays in the game. 1 was fumbled, 12 incomplete, 15 completed
