It looked to me that the offense played pretty good last night.
1. Mett is vey accurate. Receiver will develop and have less drops in the future.
2. Over 350 yards total. Twice as much as Auburn.
3. We still gained rushing yards on 8-9 man boxes.
4. Lots of 4th and 1's. when Miles is on the road with a better team he does the smart thing and plays conservative. He knew allburnts offense wasn't going to do jack on our defense.
5. Left tackle had some issues but that defensive end will play in the NFL. Left tackle issues can be resolved. I remember when Saints bushrode got owned by cowboys defensive end and everyone thought he sucked. Now he is a pro bowler.
6. Bottom line is the game plan was conservative because that is the most guaranteed way to victory when u have the better team. Miles record speaks for itself!

Everyone please stop worrying, this team is in good hands. We should probably change his nickname from "the Hat" to "mr. Allstate" lol

We probably should have gone for one of those 4th and inches or less than a yard.

You don't want to start doing that. Play to win. Especially with a defense/punter that's better than your offense.

Les knows what he is doing, those who thought this would be an easy win, should have known better, this is an SEC division and conference rivary game. Records do not matter. I'll take a tough WIN an day!

You go for the 4th and 1's when you are behind (and unexpected to come back) or you are expected to lose. Neither of those happened last night, our defense is to strong to not punt the ball.

Most sane post all day...I find it hard to believe that everyone else didn't see the same game mentioned above...The wheels are NOT off guys...Despite the laughs at this not being a TRAP game it was...plain and simple...LSU is and was the better team...all mistakes seen last night are easy fixes

If it's 4th and 1 at Auburn's 38, yes. However, most of the situations were in LSU's end, so it wasn't prudent.

Mett should have made two of the 3rd down conversions when he scrambled. He needs to be more aware of the down markers when scrambling and needs to pick up his feet when running.
