I just graduated from LSU last spring and moved to the Ft Worth area about a month ago. I haven't found any Tigers to watch the games with yet (my roommates are UGAand TCU alums). I joined the alumni association and was planning on checking out the watch paryu but don't know anyone in the area who's going. Anybody going to the watch party tonight for the Ft Worth chapter? It'd be nice to know some people there before I go.

I'm close by, but I find that sitting on my sofa and watching my flat screen is the best place to watch if I'm not going to the game. Haven't really run into good alumni around here.

Been watching the games at Sherlocks in Dallas off Park lane. It's not super crowded and it's a pretty cool crowd over there. I'm going there again today

I've been to the FW watch party in years past, it's pretty good & a friendly group to newcomers.

Write-up from the last week party (tarrant tigers.com):

2012 SEC Opener - LSU vs Auburn

Geaux Tigers!

Idaho Game Watch Lagniappe

We had a packed house of Tiger fans at Frankie's Saturday night as our Fighting Tigers would not be vandalized by Idaho and sent them packing back to potato land in a 63 to 14 rout. See pictures on Facebook. Thanks so much to Board Member Jay Dauenhauer for coordinating our inaugural watch party at Frankie's. We liked them and they liked us so much that Frankie's will become our Fort Worth game watch location as we also continue parties with our loyal sponsor, Humperdinks, Arlington.
Like Us on Facebook!

Hey Facebookers, take a minute and like/join the LSU Tarrant Tigers Alumni Chapter on Facebook. That's where you'll see our pics and comments from LSU fans. You can also post your comments and pics. Something's always happening on FB.

New Members

It was a great night at the Idaho game watch for new and renewal memberships, one of our largest number of single-night transactions. We thank all those who joined our Chapter or renewed their membership. We welcome our new members:

John Gremillion - Denton
Philip Ingram - Fort Worth

LSU vs TCU @ Cowboys Stadium - September 2013

According to Fort Worth and Baton Rouge news media, our Fighting Tigers will return to Cowboys Stadium on September 7, 2013 for the Cowboys Classic to meet the TCU Horned Frogs . This is very exciting news for our Chapter as the Tarrant Tigers will again have the opportunity to serve as the host LSU alumni chapter for a great football match up, as we did for the 2011 Cowboys Classic with Oregon and the 2011 Cotton Bowl with Texas A & M. The Oregon Tailgate Party raised over $5000 for our Scholarship Fund. We will soon begin plans for another mega tailgate party.

Geaux Tigers!

Which of the Dallas locations is best to watch the game at? I have been to Sherlock's and I like it but it is never very crowded. Just wondering if one of the other places was where everyone went.
