Made Cam and Carolina look pitiful while the Saints defense made him look like Superman. Worried about turning KC into world beaters too :( .

A rookie QB in his first ever game threw for about 4 TD's on thrm. That should tell you really all you need to know.

Actually the Saints defense showed how bad the Saints defense is. We didn't need anyones help showing that.

You don't need stats to see that the Saints D sucks

Also showed that despite the Saints being 0-2, that winning is really more players/talent than coaching.

Spags at NY with (a healthy)Osi, Strahan, Tuck etc could rush 4 and get a lot of pressure.

That defense gave NE lot of problems and they did it all playoffs not just SB.

Take away that monster front four and Spags defense in STL and now here look pedestrian.

Meanwhile back in Ny, where they replaced Strahan with a pass rush specialist/physical freak the defense still looks great when healthy.

Coaching only matters when talent is razor edge close.

I think it's entirely too early to make predictions about how Spags will affect this defense in the long run.

Not a knock on Spags, I apply that thinking to all coaches.

If anything, on the chance that the D never turns it around this year, I don't want people shitting all over Spags and how it was bad hire. Coaches aren't rumpelstiltskin, they can't turn straw into gold.

My girlfriend is a Saints fan(she is from Pascagoula), I have Jimmy on my fantasy team... I want the Saints to do good. Having said that the delusion of a average Saints fan is unbelievable, in fact it's kind of funny.
