How many times has LSU won at Auburn since 2000?

Once? Twice?
Florida is undefeated and LSU has to play them in Gainesville.
The strongest South Carolina team ever will come into Tiger Stadium with Spurrier leading them.
Texas A&M on the road is not exactly easy.
October 2012 looks much tougher than October 2011.
Overlooking any of those could easily result in a loss.

I'm sure the team will lose because the rant is looking forward to 11/3

2004 and 2010 Auburn teams were undefeated. 2006 was 11-2.
2002 and to a lesser degree 2010 were the only years we lost @ Auburn when the two teams had comparable football teams.
This isn't 2010.

LSU and Auburn were pretty comparable in 2006. In fact, LSU was probably a better overall team... But that game should never again be spoken about.

Since all I do is tailgate and watch the game, I am going to do all the overlooking I want. In fact, my goal for the day will be to figure out which polo shirt I will wear to the BCSNCG in Miami.

Have you watched CFB at all this year?
Auburn sucks. Period. We could start our squad team and Auburn would have trouble scoring on them. They have 2 new coordinators and a bunch of talent that doesn't fit their system. Playing at home doesn't magically make them good. It may give them some adrenaline to last 8:00 of the first quarter, but this will be a blow out. Why? because LSU doesn't have to throw the ball to beat them. It's really hard to screw up handing the ball off and Auburn's defensive line against our O-line is a mismatch in our favor.
Forida - will be a tough game. They think they're "back". They have some pretty decent road wins over teams that will finish 8-4 or 7-5 this year. Grats. aTm and Tennessee are a big notch below LSU right now and Florida had to comeback against both of them. I like Muschamp, but he is still 2 years from an SEC elite team.
S. Carolina - Shaw's been knocked out of damn near every game they've played. Stop USCe's running game and they are done. They are good but the talent all over the field on LSU's defense should be able to force the QB to beat us and he can't. The hard part about this game is going to be trying to score against them because their D is good and will try to stop the run. However, they aren't crazy deep and the game is in BR so Mett should be comfortable.
aTm - they will be .500 when we play. THe biggest obstacle for LSU is to not be looking ahead to the bye week and Bama.
Ease up on the panic juice. I highly doubt CLM and the Tigers are looking into November right now. As a fan, I am and for good reason.....11/3 is coming and it will be awesome.

A better question is how many times has LSU won in The Swamp since 2000

Actually we are a quite competitive 3-3 since 2000. (W'S 02,04,10-- L'S 00, 06, 08)
Very good record considering how talented and successful UF has been over the decade.

Those past games are only relevant if the situation this year is similar. It's not. Auburn had teams that were comparable to LSU, if not better, in those years. This year, they don't.

Florida hasn't played against a tough defense yet. They use pretty much the standard formula, run the ball and stop the run. They could do that to Bowling Green, A&M and Tennessee, but it will be a lot harder against LSU.

It's hardly clear at this point that this is their best team ever.

Texas A&M on the road is not exactly easy.
Their home field advantage can't change the talent level of the team. They don't have a good enough defense to shut us down, and they don't have a good enough offense to match us score for score.

Overlooking anybody can easily result in a loss. Do you think our team will overlook any of those teams?

We have only won at Auburn twice since 1998---in 1998 and 2008, which were both bad years by Tigers standards. It seems we win there when we are not expected to, and lose by bullshite calls in close games when we are really good. This year will be very interesting because I think they are more down than usual. I just hope we don't underestimate them.
