So far Brady has been middle of the pack fantasy points wise and hasn't helped me out that much. On top of that the Pats look to be running the ball more with Ridley and Hernandez is now out. Plus they are playing Baltimore. So I was thinking of either starting Alex Smith (vs Vikings) or Cassel (vs Saints) for this week with their matchups. I'm torn.

I've always thought that benching your 1st round pick, outside of an injury, is kinda................suicidal.

ETA: Think of it this way, if Brady blows up, and Matt Cassel does the Matt Cassel, you're gonna feel dumb.

Vick almost threw for 400 yards and a td vs the Ravens last week, you dont think Brady could match or do better than that?

McCoy rushed the ball 25x, Vick rushed 10x, I really doubt the Pats even rush that many times..

Dont sit Brady

Yeah, but.......if you bench an average QB one week and he blows up, you're going to feel dumb. If you bench an elite QB one week and he blows up, you're going to feel dumb and EVERYONE ELSE will think you're dumb.

ETA: I'm not in any way saying that Matt Cassel qualifies as an average QB.

I was coming in here thinking you would say your other QB was Matt Ryan or RGIII.
I literally laughed out loud when I read Alex Smith or Matt Cassell. I would have spit out my coffee if I had any.
Don't bench Brady man

I think you should go ahead and trade him. Clearly, after two whole weeks, Brady is not the player (fantasy or otherwise) that he used to be. If you can't get any value for him in a trade, see if you can drop him for someone like Matt Cassel.

So far the points aren't there like they used to be. Bump all you like.

He's coming off a bad game at home against the Cardinals with just 16 Fantasy points. He doesn't have Aaron Hernandez (ankle) for this matchup. And he has a difficult history against the Ravens. He's faced Baltimore each of the past three years, including the playoffs in 2011, and he has just one game with more than 13 Fantasy points, which was 21 in 2009. He had 13 Fantasy points against the Ravens in 2010 and 11 Fantasy points in the AFC Championship Game last year.
