I watch Judge Judy extensively - I have probably seen every episode aired since 2009. She just acts as an arbitrator and the whole thing is basically a sham (courtroom decorum in an arbitration hearing, monetary awards are paid by the show, not litigants, etc). But what attracts me to the show is her abrasiveness and verbal abuse of the worst kind of Americans. She particularly likes to rant about how so many of her litigants are living on the government dole - disability, SS, student loans, etc. She may claim to lean left but she's definitely a conservative at heart.
