I'm not knocking the kids trying to cover Quinn. My comment about a big dummy was in regards to the coach from Evangel that kept leaving his kids on an island with Quinn. They rolled a safety over at times and were able to contain him but as soon as he got 1 on 1 white lightning would strike again! Once again no knock on the kids, they were doing the best they could do.

Here's what's scary: he's done this kind of thing before.

Last year vs. STM: 16-335,3 TDs, also had 2 rush TDs for 5 overall on Sept. 30, 2011

Dad's a big-time Tiger and the family loves them some Adam Henry.

That said, I do think it wouldn't hurt if Les would let Zach chunk it around some. Right now, A&M's foot is in the door based on the offense and how Trey would be utilized. I think if LSU threw it 30 times a game, it would be all over right now.

Maybe Les should come out four wides, no-huddle for a couple series tomorrow and let Mett get some quality attempts under his belt...because somebody in south Lake Charles and maybe even somebody in Sealy, Texas will be watching with interest...

Quinn is just scary for any defense.

I ain't naming names but a couple of current LSU WR's are wearing Trey Quinn pajamas.

ETA: Brian Perron from 247 Sports was there so Quinn will get a nice write up and another 247 guy who can push the other national writers to bump him up.

Film may not be that interesting, most of the time he basically just ran as fast as he could on a streak pattern and simply passes by the db and keeps going as Fontenot throws it as far as he can heave it and bingo you get a touchdown. No idea why Evangel went back to man coverage on him the last drive. He had 4 tds at that point and you gotta make someone else beat you. The play he scored the 5th td I think it was 3rd and long and he catches ball and turns to head upfield and db tackles air. What was even more hilarious was defensive coach for Evangel screaming at the db after each td when there was no way any of the kids could run with Quinn and that big dummy just refused to give help over the top. Not sure but wasnt't this the same matchup last year that Fontenot threw for over 500 yards and Quinn got on the map with 300 or so yards receiving, I can't remember for sure.

Quinn was on the map as a freshman in 2010... the game where west monroe had 29 penalties and still won 34-28 in the playoffs

There's always this guy. The guy that thinks he's heard something relevant or has a connection. My guess is that he heard Quinn went to A&M last weekend for a trip which in his mind = A&M is pushing LSU.

From everything from people on this board that know him to LSU paysites to A&M paysites......

Quinn = LSU LOCK

Want to tell us that Smith is reconsidering Alabama as well?

Let me guess, they're telling him he'll be the next Ryan Swoope.

As I said with Desean, he will take visits, enjoy the process, but he's Lsu all the way.

While I agree with you on it is exciting to see more passing A&M passed for 173 yards last week and Manziel looks to have average arm strength that doesn't stretch the field and strike fear into SEC defenses.

LSU isn't going to throw the ball more to get Trey Quinn.

I think they were asking about hs, possibly Louisiana hs.

I'd like to know both.

How come no one has looked this up yet?
