I hope he enjoys it, you know how 4 year olds can be. I am going to wear his little arse out Saturday!

Where can I get the schedule of events for gameday this Saturday?

The schedule of events is always in the Advocate on Saturday morning...i believe it can be found on lsusports.net before the game as well. I'm sure that someone will post it in here.

Thats awesome...me and my dad went to the games for about 10 years together and then didnt go for about 4 years and now me, him, and my wife all have tickets together. Great childhood memories.

Hope you guys have a blast!

Took my little girl to her first game in TS this year...we got to campus at 10, hit the bookstore and she went nuts buying stuff for the whole family. Now i know i'm going to sh!t myself when she gets older and gets hold of my credit card, but this day it was all smiles for ol' dad. She even wanted to stay for the entire game (some fans on this board can't fathom that). Just wait until the 1/2-timers leave and you can probably get him down to the front row and snag a pic or two with Mike & Cheerleaders. Hope ya'll have a blast.

Can't think of a more fun thing to do for him. You'll have just as much fun just watching him.

Have seen a lot of young kids get really tired during the games with parents often leaving at half or early 3rd quarter of a night game; especially if you've got a full day planned. Happened again right in front of me this past weekend. Be prepared and have fun!

I realize it was a joke, have to have thick skin if you are gonna post on the rant, ain't my first rodeo here. I'll probably stay till halftime unless he is totally digging it.

Word of advice. Two seasons ago I took my son to his first game at age 4. Has come each year with me since. Let him carry a small backpack with a few of his things in it. Let mine take his DS and a few things. Keeps them occupied when they are done watching game. That way you get to stay for whole game and don't hear the inevitable, I want to leave.

brought my two boys to Northwestern State game last year, it was awsome for all of us. Got there early and walked around for a while, then watched team walk down the hill, got to take a pic with Mike. Then watched the game it was amazing. it is somthing they will never forget.

You must not have kids. He means he will tire him out so that he sleeps good that night.

You think he will be okay for all or most of the game? I want to bring my 4 year old, but she pretty much said she would get bored after a while.
