FIFA 13 Thread: Demo Available Now!

I know I am. FIFA 12 is getting to the point where I want to break the disc in half. I hope the new offensive runs are as good as they've advertised because attacking online is damn near impossible with any mid level team or lower (Liverpool specifically in my case).

it's not old to me, but i retired a couple weeks back in anticipation of 13. i may play just enough to get back to division 1, but then i'm DONE. unless BMac wants a game

What's some of your most impressive goals in FIFA 12? I haven't picked up a soccer game since FIFA passed up the PES games way back when and was seeing if they have any goals that make you wonder how you even did it

I'll clarify that statement, because it's actually only partially on the attacking AI (which isn't very good), they need to fix the game match up parameters for online, because Liverpool v. Madrid, Barca, Munich, and Brazil (my last 4 games just fyi) is never a fair match up, Liverpool has exactly 0 players that can keep up with Messi or Ronaldo in the game

I had a free kick deflect off the wall to Suarez, who proceeded to boot it off the post, only to have the ball deflect off the diving keeper on the way back out and go in... off the other post. Me and the guy I was playing were both speechless.

a screamer from about 35 yards by some LB on a 3 star team i was playing with. pure luck/bullshite
and i hit this wonky FK via Honda from 27 yards out. curved it in on the "wrong" side (he's a lefty and should have had a righty kick, plus i hit it to the keeper, not wall, side)

35-yard up and down the wall free kick with Ashley Young. One of the few times a video game made me jump up in celebration.
Played online with a fellow Soccer Boarder. Bicycle kick from just inside the box with Wesley Sneijder, off of a corner. Ridiculous.
Had a Rooney rainmaker when a human goalie charged me. Chipped it ridiculously high, ended up bouncing right in.
It was a MLS goalie (Ryan Meara, I think), but I successfully pulled off the fake chip shot-to-dribble around the goalie for the easy goal move with Dominic Oduro. Only time I've been able to do that.
Had a Ronaldo corner go straight in. Perfect amount of bend.

Just got scored on 3 times by Ronaldo on GK throws where he just outruns everyone, I have no way to stop it because I can't fricking see what's going on because of the camera until it's way too late.
Also, does anyone know if they added handball recognition to 13? Because not having it at all in 12 is stupid, because they happen all the damn time

You have to go into settings and turn handballs on. Default settings have them turned off for some reason.

Can't fix that for online, which is stupid. Had a corner in the 89th last night get denied but clearly off the guys hand (even my opponent agreed it was a HB) and cost me a cup win.

Nope, because the online rules are default and unchangeable (for obvious reasons). That needs to be the default. I'm just looking forward to how the new attacking runs will look, because what they have now isn't very good. My team likes to play "shadow the defender" when I'm in the attack half.

yeah i'm interested. the AI defense is shite against the computer but good against online opponents
i want an improved offensive AI to balance it out
