Did anyone notice, during the Alabama-Michigan game, when the outcome was no longer in doubt, Mussberger was kidding Herbstriet about not picking an SEC team in the National Championship game. Mussburger indicated that Herbstreit had said, I'm picking FSU vs USC, piss on the SEC.

1. I didn't hear the commentary. I was at the LSU game.
2. Does it matter who any of the "experts" choose? Play the games.
3. How is this LSU related?
4. Fix your thread title.

He picked FSU over USC. Said LSU was his pick but the loss of TM7 made the difference.

ESPN is stirring the pot, it is obvious where the best teams in football play but they have to keep it fresh.

Remember this???

ESPN and bout everyone else in the college football world is freaking tired of the SEC holding that crystal ball at the end of the season.

If LSU wasn't in the SEC, I would be way sick of it too.

imo that game started out as a michigan lovefest by both announcers. there is no bigger big 10 homer than mussberger. i think much of the country would love to see the SEC not win their 7th straight and what, 8 of the last 10?

I think he replied , "Ha ha yeah what was I thinking not putting an SEC team in the National Championship game?"

I for one am soooooooooooo happy that it's all about Bama now and LSU is such an after thought. If I didn't know any better, I swear Miles in his genius, intentionally kicked TM7 off the team, so the limelight would shift to Bama, thus giving the Tigers the edge they need to win it all this year.
