New route to game day parking

Asking for advice on new route to campus. Currently take I-10 to Highland all the way to campus. Traffic starts to ack up about Staing or Kenilworth. Thinking about I-10 to Acadian, then Stanford to West Lakeshore to Highland. Anybody familiar with traffic along this route about 2 hrs prior to game?

the route that you are describing works ok, but there is just not much parking on that side of campus and you can't drive through the middle to get to the nicholson area any more...
my advice would be to take the same exit off the interstate, but try nicholson or even river road...
unless you want to park around the ag coliseum or the lakes, then I would take the route that you are describing...

Have parking pass, it's just a matter of getting to lot and avoiding the frustration. Thanks for info
