Angel Cloud Hoax-Why Don't People Check Facts?

Why do people just repost things on Facebook without checking their facts? I ran a simple search and found that this photo was taken in Pretoria, South Africa. Now I don't have the heart to comment that it's fake, because it's so uplifting, but it still bugs me so much!
