Did Catholic High Cancel Game vs Zachary?

Was told the game was wiped out??
Thought they moved it to Saturday at noon?

was moved to Saturday, then canceled Saturday's game. Catholic High website confirms.

Heard Zachary was willing to play but there was some conflict. Zachary is now supposedly trying to scramble and find someone to play sunday. Second hand info so not too sure on it.
Eta: Says in paper that Dale didn't want to play because of what happened with his team during gustav trying to play unprepared. Did say in the article that the two could get together next friday as zachary is scheduled to play at thibodaux and catholic plays mandeville 2 schools effected by the hurricane.

FWIW I heard from a Mandeville parent that everything looks like they will be able to play Catholic next week.

I hear zachary will play southern lab sunday so it looks like weiner bowl may be a no go this year. Catholics lucky.

Because school was out Catholic had only practiced one day this week and would have only been able to practice once more.

Except Zachary practiced Tuesday and would have practiced Thursday and Friday. If school is cancelled, it is school rules that catholic cannot practice. It was a terrible situation for catholic and there was no reason to play. They have had some bad hurricane games due to limited planning in the past and they didn't need a terrible confidence drainer game for essentially a worthless ball game.
