I love Danny Mac. He was coaching ISU when I was there. Glad his heart issue is under control.
Funny story - his wife (Margy?) was the driver behind a rules change at the Ames Country Club. She used to wear a thong at the pool and the rest of the female members pushed to get a no thong rule in place once she started showing up.

Yeah no Pics. It was funny because by walking into the dining room you could tell when she was at the pool - every guy in the room would be at a window...

Was he talking smack and bad-mouthing the LSU Tigers?
He probably talked about the BCSNC Game vs. Bama and questioned our capability on offense, right?
I'll bet that he said that the LSU Football team could "be beaten because they lack self-discipline", right?

Nope. In the many years I have known Danny Mac he has never bad mouthed an opponent. In fact, he was giving mad props to LSU and our history. He spoke about "everybody in America respects LSU" even if they are not a fan...
McCarney is a damn good man.

Actually none of the above.. essentially said he is honored to be playing the best college football team in the country, and that it will raise the sights of his own players by seeing what the best in the country do.
