Houston Mortgage Market

Does anyone have any insight on the Houston wholesale mortgage market? I may have an AE opportunity with a large lender in that area. TIA

I would assume that everything is fine based on my personal experience of trying to find homes in the "loop area" lots are being gobbled up by builders for thousands of dollars more than they were even last year. My own home sold in 7 days after two years(complete remodel) made 50k over what I invested.
