We don't imagine too many restaurants around the country would deny NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a meal.

Then again, how many restaurants do you know of are owned by someone who despises Goodell?

We know of at least one, Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Miami, which is owned in part by Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma.

What caught our attention Tuesday night on Twitter was a photo of a window at Brother Jimmy's, where a sign with Goodell's face is taped to the glass. And in all caps surrounding the commissioner's mug, the message reads: "DO NOT SERVE THIS MAN."

An employee confirmed to USA TODAY Sports that the signs are, indeed, posted on all of the restaurant's front windows and inside the dining room.

That's pretty funny. Wish he would have waited until after the arbitrator and judge rule though.

Don't want to do anything to make him less of a victim and Goodell more sympathetic.

He has every right to be petty. He's the involuntary sacrificial lamb and he's taking a multimillion dollar hit for league interests. You'd be petty too.

Agree wholeheartedly, but why pour more fuel on the fire, especially without a resolution as of yet?

This is nothing. I doubt Goodell would have even ever stepped foot in that place regardless. This adds no fuel to no fire.

I think Goodell knows enough not to go eat in a Vilma owned restaurant. This is pretty much blowing a raspberry at him as he walks down the hall in middle school.

I just hate giving anything for those fools at ESPN to spew on about for hours on end. Stay under the radar until the judge rules, then be as ruthless to RG as possible.

Not only do I support this sign I think every restaurant in NO should have it up the week of the super bowl.

I wonder how many restaurants in the city of N.O. would do this during Super Bowl week when Roger is in town?

You know what's petty? Issuing the largest ever penalties in the history of the league over nothing.

I agree, but have some class about it at the same time. Who knows if Vilma even authorized this, so I'm not necessarily knocking him. But this isn't needed.

This x10000000.

Absolutely. This would be the time to make that statement. I think it would be awesome.

And guys, obviously Vilma knows Goodell wouldn't go there, especially now, when he isn't even in town.

It's a statement. A funny, but poorly timed statement.

Wait until the judge rules, then do whatever you want. And Super Bowl week, when commish is actually in town, every restaurant in town should join in to make the statement loud and clear.

I think the sign is funny, but I also think it would be pretty dumb for any NOLA restaurant to refuse Goodell during Super Bowl week. If Goodell is eating at your place, a lot of big wigs are going to be with him. That's too much money to pass up.

A) frick Goodell, Roger that.

B) Sign at Vilma's restaurant is simply brilliant free advertisement and marketing.

Any place commish would condescend to visit during SB week is going to be packed wall to wall anyway. And every Saints fan in the place would tip VERY WELL if they see him being turned away. Hell, the place would instantly become NOLA legend once the story spread and would reap the benefits of that for years IMO.

I say frick em.

Vilma has every right to be pissed, every right.

However, this is drawing even more attention to this process. He should continue to fight this case like he is doing, but without drawing more attention to himself and the organization. Maybe he didn't even put this up though, who knows. I just want for once, the team to not have any more distractions like this. We finally had a bit of everything being clear, and out of the news. This put the team right back in the headlines.

If these signs are put up in New Orleans, that's fine, and people will eat it up. It's outstanding marketing, I actually would love to see it. This is all tied to Vilma though right now, and with Vilma, it's tied to the team. Let's try to stay out of the news and stick it to the league by beating the shite out of teams. If you wanna get back at Goodell, you win in spite of him and the adversity he has forced the team to overcome.
