Another advantage for SEC football teams

There's an interesting article in today's New York Times that reports the growing belief among some scientists that training in the heat offers athletes a physiological and psychological advantage over those who don't.
After pointing out that some of the physiological advantages might be minimal, the reporter writes: "But there may still be an advantage, Dr. Minson added. There is a large psychological component to performance, and those who do hard workouts outside on hot, humid days have to overcome mental barriers to push themselves. That sort of toughness can translate into improved performance."
