This guy. I built it up to be so much more.
And this seems to be the general consensus. I didn't think it wasn't funny.. I was just disappointed that it wasn't funnier.

Me and my gf saw it over the weekend and both thought it was hilarious. It's typical Ferrell comedy but I think he's great so I enjoyed it.

Can't say you didn't laugh at the confessions at the Huggins household...or the reciting of the "Lord's Prayer", or the punching of the baby and dog. Not his greatest but many many funny moments, imo.

It felt like I was watching a combination of a W. Bush SNL Skit and the family scenes from Ricky Bobby.
...and once that premise was set, it was the same sort of joke over and over.
The campaign commercials were probably the best thing about it.
