How much money am I looking at? Where do I get the best deal? Can I film in the rain?

the new HD Hero 2 is 299.99 but I'm sure can find a little cheaper somewhere. and it comes with waterproof housing that can go some ridiculous like 200' underwater

Back in the day, way before go pro, you would use a makeshift cam corder as your stabilizer.

Everything to do with my gopro. Love using it, cant wait to bow season starts. Although Right now I'd rather it on my head than my bow, because then whatever you want to film you'll only have to look at in stead of pointing your rig at.

Sweet. If you shoot something with it I would love to see the video.

For real though, I'm in the market for one too...

A while back someone had a thread where they were selling last years model on Amazon for 200 bucks or so and I didn't pull the trigger.

At the local walmarks I saw the original on sale for 200. Does anybody know if go pro #2 better than the original? Is it worth the money are they about the same?

I have the original. New one is better. New one can record at higher FPS for replay in slow motion and has red light on back to show when the camera is filming (among other additions). Go new.

Look around the Internet. I found my motorsports edition in the classifieds section of an off road forum for $225.

There's a roll bar mount available and a smaller bar mount which would work in a bow stabilizer.

I've been trying to decide what I'm going to film with. I don't like that the gopro doesn't have any zoom. I've also looked at the wild game action cam. I like that it has zoom but the video quality isn't as good as the gopro. It does have night vision though. I'll probbly end up with that

Go look at bowhunting.com and see what they use. They self film all their hunts.

The two attachments i use are the chest mount to put on my dog, and the suction cup mount. If used to suction cup mount on the stock of a shotgun that worked really well. Ive also put it on the front of a 4 wheeler with no problems.
