With HB7 gone, shouldn't Russell Shepard get a shot at returning punts

I think he would be a perfect fit, but I never see his name thrown around for the position.

He would break in half on a big hit.

I don't see him as a good fit as a returner.

Have you seen him try to catch regular passes? He shouldn't be anywhere near the 10 deep at PR.

He gain more yards laterally from juking than he would vertically

That's because he wouldn't be a good fit.

Yo Les, check this idea out, probably something you or any of your coaches have ever thought about or tried.

Not even close. You see some of the hits he puts on guys on special teams? Take a look at all of Tyrann's PR TDs and you'll see him blowing someone up.

I must be confused but I thought he was already part of the kickoff/return teams? I remember hearing he already gets specials teams playing time but maybe I'm wrong.

I think OBJ and landry will be the go to guys for the most part.

Beckham is a great punt returner.
Best hands on the team, and the ability to make people miss in the open field.

I don't think Trindon did either to be honest.
Guess the reward was worth the risk with Trindon.
Now that I think about it, was Trindon just KO returns ? Im trying to remember, but im almost positive I remember him muffing a few punts.
