i work 7 and 7, and while at work i like to watch tv shows on dvd. i've watched mad men, game of thrones, 24, and the wire. the wire was by far my favorite, and just finished it. its time to find another one. i've never watched breaking bad, what say the good people of the movie/tv board??

Watch that.

I'm not a huge fan of the current season right now but you can't go wrong with the others. You'll be addicted.

Deadwood.

Al Swearingen is the most quotable cocksucker in TV history.

I don't not like the current season but right now, it's not as good as the others. I honestly feel it has been the best show on tv.

In this order:

Breaking Bad
Luther
Sherlock
Justified
Deadwood

You're welcome.

I'd say go with Breaking Bad next too. Definitely in my Top 3.

I'd also recommend -
Six Feet Under
Lost (ending sucked though)
Flight of the Conchords
Fringe

The VERY first scene of this show sucks you in. You are done right from the get-go, and you will watch the whole series and then think back to yourself: "Wait, this show was on FX...not HBO or Showtime?"

That show was awesome.

The West Wing should be your first choice.

Then Scrubs.
