Just finished the first 2 seasons of boardwalk empire..got questions SPOILERS

That was her brother and his family. Haven't seen it in a while but she really started getting a "I'm better than you" attitude and wanted to go see her family. Remember she offered them money. I think it was just to show you how much she has changed and believes money is the answer for all problems.

It was obvious to us all that they had fricked. She was in love with him because he was the only thing that ever mattered to her. She was a twisted frick.

I think we're all pissed he was killed.

I forgot how much of a count Margaret is. Going to rewatch the series over the next month.

Just read Terence Winter's plans for season 3 and I'm excited again.

Other than Terrence Winter saying it was part of the script, I don't know that it was necessarily debunked. He was always going to explain it that way instead of just saying how hard Pitt is to work with on set.

In short, she's become a greedy arse skank who will probably get whacked or beat the hell up in the near future. She left her family high and dry to reinvent herself. She's slowly climbing to be one of my more hated female characters on TV.

I was pissed too because I really like Michael Pitt as an actor but the reality is he painted himself in a corner even if the validity of why the actor got axed is true. I think Winter said it best in an interview in that this is a gangster show and gangsters are going to die. And Jimmy was so fricked up at that juncture that too many bridges had been burned.

I'm interested in seeing what kind of retaliation will come from it. Especially from someone like Harrow who I'd love to see start silently knocking Nucky's guys off. Or from someone influential like Capone who had at the very least gained a lot of respect for Jimmy.

i think one of the reasons they had to kill jimmy off is because his fictional character was becoming to big for the history behind the show

obviously Boardwalk takes some creative liberties with the story and doesnt always try to follow history, but if Jimmy had gotten too big it wouldve gotten further and further away from the attempt to make the show SOMEWHAT historically accurate

while the real life person Jimmy was based off of (Jimmy Boyd) was involved with Nucky and pulled some shady dealings in his life, he wasnt really involved in bootlegging at all and was known more for his shady dealings in the... wait for it... ice cream sales of Atlantic City

to have a fictional character grow too big and overshadow the real character from history (Nucky) would've thrown off the show (IMO, FWIW, LMAO, LOL, WYHI)
